We’re excited to announce that ella health will soon be opening a new center bringing our breakthrough 3D mammography technology to Toms River, New Jersey. Women can call now to make an appointment that will take place after the official opening on November 27th.This new center at 222 Oak Avenue is one of the few places in the country where women can get a mammogram using the most advanced technology available. This Tomosynthesis system, also available at our Harrisburg center, conveniently takes a series of pictures that are compiled into a 3D image at the same time as it takes the conventional 2D images.
The 3D image makes it easier for our fellowship trained radiologists to identify cancers and determine whether something that looks suspicious is actually of concern, which reduces false positives.
At Toms River, as in our Harrisburg center, we will strive to make your experience as comfortable as possible. There are private dressing rooms with warm cloth robes. The exam rooms are kept warm, and we use a special pad on the machines for comfort.
We also offer convenient, quick scheduling, sometimes even on the same day you call. Your results will be available within 24 hours or on Monday if your appointment is on a Friday.
