Justine Seda hadn’t gotten around to having her annual mammogram, but then she heard about a Mammo Party at Ella Health in Toms River.
“I thought it was unusual, but I thought it was a great idea,” said Justine, an accountant who also runs a Silk Catering.
Justine came with a friend to enjoy cocktails and appetizers while doing some shopping. Thirty-One, Dove Chocolate Discoveries and Pink Zebra Candles had set up booths for the special event.
“It was fun, it was very comfortable and we had a ball,” Justine said.
But it wasn’t the food or the festivities that most impressed Justine. Rather, it was the center itself and her experience during her exam.
“It’s such a relaxing place,” she said. “Even the dressing rooms are pretty. It’s clear that this is a place that was designed for women.”
The exam itself was so comfortable that she came out eager to urge others to get it done.
Justine said she is committed to getting an annual mammogram as a way of taking care of her own health.
“At some point in your life, you have to take care of yourself because if you don’t, you’re no good to anyone else,” she said. “You have to put yourself in that line up.”
For a difficult exam, Ella Health Centers provide a fantastic experience. The rooms are comfy, warm robes. usually very littlwe waiting( wouldn’t mind a little longer Ha). If you fear mamograms, this is a great first experience!
