The Holidays at Ella Health

holiday mammo

Sukie Dozal, San Antonio mammographer

We’ve had some great conversations about the holidays with our patients. We’ve enjoyed hearing about their plans, what they’ll be doing and the gifts they’re getting people. If you haven’t finished wrapping, don’t feel too bad, there are many others who aren’t done either.

With the gift-giving season upon us, we asked our staff what they would give the world if they could. None of their gifts could be bought at a store, but they would be appreciated by many:

If I could give the world a gift, it would be mercy and tolerance. To show compassion and selflessness to those who are in need and acceptance to those who have beliefs that differ from our own. – Colleen, Toms River, NJ, mammographer

If I could give the world a gift, it would be patience; something we all too often forget in our busy lives. – Tracey, Lemoyne, PA, mammographer

Jennifer Duggins, San Antonio physical therapist

If I could give the world a gift it would be the ability to stop ourselves from over-thinking things, live in the moment…be present. – Jennifer, San Antonio, TX, physical therapist

If I could give the world a gift, it would be that every child lives in a loving, safe environment and never goes hungry. – Jackie, corporate

I would give the world the gift of common sense, because it is not as common anymore, it can be an unusual gift .– Julia, corporate

If I could give the world a gift, it would be peace throughout the world. – Linda, Langhorne, PA, mammographer

If I could give the world a gift it would be to ensure that everyone knows that its ok to be an individual. I think (especially with the younger generation) that sometimes “life” is perceived to be a certain way and people react accordingly. I would hope that everyone would let their fate direct them appropriately as opposed to being forced to live a certain way because that is what is “expected.”  – Celisse M., San Antonio, TX, office coordinator
