Ella Health and Progressive Radiology Partner to Provide Better 3D Mammography in Bel Air, MD

We are pleased to announce that we’ve opened a beautiful new center in Bel Air, Maryland. Women can now get 3D mammography, the most advanced technology available, for breast cancer screening and diagnostic exams in a comfortable, relaxing setting.

We’re happy to be working with a fantastic team of dedicated doctors at Progressive Radiology, the largest radiologist owned and operated medical imaging practice in the Maryland and Washington D.C. area. These board certified, fellowship trained doctors specialize in women’s health.

The center features a relaxing atmosphere with soft music and aromatherapy. Women are given warm cloth robe to use for the exam and shown to a private dressing room where they can store their things.

“This is a place where women can relax and feel pampered,” said Ella Health Chief Executive Joe Shikorsky. “They can get an exam that provides greater cancer detection at a center where the staff specializes in making them feel welcome and comfortable throughout their appointment. Our goal is to make it easier for women to get a mammogram so they will take this important step to protect their health.”

Results are delivered quickly, generally within one business day of the exam.
